Well friends, the time has finally come the 2019-20 NFL season! I think that’s how you say it, lol! I am more than excited about this. I am a huge football fan. I’m sure most of you know that by now.

Before I start this post I would just like to say I am proud of Andrew Luck for retiring from the NFL. He has been through a lot over the past 5 years in his career. I’m glad that he chose his family and his health over playing football. It was fun watching him play for I think almost 9 years. He was such an amazing player and he had such a great arm. I know it was a hard decision for him to make to walk away from something that he has done his entire life but he chose right.
For us football was entertaining but for him it was rough suffering injuries, being tackled, and having to sit in ice baths. Missing games from concussions. I’m sure it was even tougher on his mental state of mind. We can say, we’ll he got paid well for all of that. However, no amount of money is worth your mental health and state of mind. Being able to run around with your kid and remembering who you are.
With that being said I am very excited about the new season of football, NFL football. I don’t watch college football except for the Iron Bowl. I look forward to seeing the long passes to the fast wide receivers. The one handed catches. The punt return touchdowns. The dances in the endzone. David Johnson return to his old self. Drew Brees throw to Michael Thomas. Baker Mayfield and his magic with the Browns. I’m excited about it all. Well, not the dirty hits and diva like behavior from grown men, lol!

Growing up in Alabama there isn’t much going on there, but there was football. Great football in, especially in high school and college. I should be a bigger college football fan. Alabama produces some great football players.
I’m excited about this season. I love football. It brings people together even that like different teams. My fantasy draft was this past Sunday. I was pick 12. That’s never happened to me before. I think I made good picks. Just like last year, the name of my team is I’m So Gurley, lol! I didn’t get Todd Gurley this year either, he was already gone. However, I wouldn’t have picked him anyway. He’s had some injuries and he didn’t play much in the Super bowl last year so I was skeptical about him. I still love him enough to name my team after him.

So, grab some beers and enjoy the season with me. Yes, I stand (or should I say kneel) with Colin Kaepernick but I still watch football. Like 80% of the league is black. I support them and my love of football. Have a wonderful blessed day and always be kind! Thanks for reading my blog.

Iβm ready too!!! Grown men with diva behavior… HAHAHA!!! Who Dat Baby
