Good morning beautiful humans, happy Thursday! Thank you for spending part of your morning with me or evening depending on where you live in this great big world! Welcome to Life with Lane, my life through words, pictures, and food! Come on in……

2020 has been one for the books and sadly its not even half way over yet. Am I the only one ready for a new year? I mean jeez!! I wanted to talk to you guys very briefly about cancel culture.
If you don’t know what that is, it’s when a celebrity does something crazy and someone will start a hashtag canceling them. Last week I think a rapper name Doja Cat and Joe Biden were both canceled on the same day.
These are humans, not magazines, gyms, or Netflix; you can’t just cancel them. These are actual people with feelings. True, when people do certain things, they should be called out on it but not canceled.

We can’t just go around canceling people. You know what we should be canceling though? Racism, inequality, injustice, sexism, rape, domestic violence, sexual harassment, child abuse, etc.
We seem to care more about a celebrity saying and doing something stupid more than we do about the things I just mentioned. It makes me sad. Sometimes it seems like our focus is wrong. We could all use an eye exam.
Thank you for reading my blog. Like, comment, subscribe! What do you think about cancel culture? Have a wonderful blessed day and always be kind!
