Stand up

Good morning beautiful humans, happy Monday! How was your weekend? I hope it was wonderful. Did you attend any protest? I had to work all weekend, so I wasn’t able to. I tried to make my presence known on social media though. Thanks for stopping by my blog, come on in……

  1. It’s beautiful to see the non-violent protests that marred the memory of Mr. Floyd. I think that peaceful protest is a cornerstone of our republic. I’d like to add that if a political party hasn’t helped the plight of the African American people, perhaps it’s time to change up the voting. In my state, we had a Senator that walked away from a woman drowning in his car. I always wondered why people continued to vote for him for years, when he had shown his true colors as a human being. Perhaps if we deleted the “D”s and “R”s behind each candidate and had them run on their ideas instead of their party, the country might be a whole lot more together with each other.

  2. It’s scary when you feel you have an unpopular opinion. However, it’s needed when it comes to crucial moments like this. I’m not attending any protests because some of them have resulted in injured civilians. However, I’m supporting from home.
