Good morning beautiful humans, happy Friday! Well, the end of the year is around the corner, thank God! I know we’re all ready for this year to be over. It’s literally been the worst. Good thing is, its been bad for everyone so we’re not alone. That being said, there were some good things from this year for me. So, I wanted to share them with you guys!
My family is always the best part of my life! I literally have the best family EVER! No matter what I go through, they’re always there for me. My Mother turned 66 this year and that was such a blessing. I wasn’t able to go home to celebrate with her but my sister Danielle and I did go home for Thanksgiving like we always do. We were able to stay home for almost a week. My brother had up his tree and it’s so beautiful. I had to include it. He always has the best trees. Life is better with family and I have the best one! Thank you God!
In life it’s really hard to find a true good friend. They say if you have one good friend in life, you’re doing good! I hit the jackpot with my bestie Cassandra! She’s my female soulmate and know matter what she’ll always be there for me. She’s my pandoras box! On top of her being the best best friend EVER, She had another baby and she’s my goddaughter! One of the cutest happiest kids I’ve ever met!
I just wanted to include this picture because I really like it, lol! My nephew is just so handsome and we both photograph well. I realized that color is just stunning on me 😍
I love love Halloween and dressing up as Harley Quinn was really a joy this year. I had so much fun putting the outfit together, figuring out which way the makeup looked best! It was pretty awesome. I think I looked pretty damn good!
I’ve hadn’t been to Vegas in years so going for my 40th birthday was extra special. Alot of things were shut down but I still had an amazing time. I think my favorite part was the Vegas strip tour. Seeing the lights from above in that helicopter was pretty damn amazing!
We all know I love to eat but Happy Hour at Bosphorus is my favorite. Not just because the food is good but because of who I go with. My company is the best 😍😍
My friend Jason came to visit me from New York and we had such a great time. He’s a chef so of course he made me homemade cuisine. It was some of the best food I’ve ever had! Although the food was delicious just seeing him and spending time with him was even better. He’s such a sweetheart! He even wore my Life with Lane apron!
I attended a lovely entrepreneur event in August, atleast I think it was in August, lol! It was hosted by my lovely friend Nori Ajax. The turn out was pretty good and I met some amazing people. It was a great experience. Can’t wait to go to the next one.
The Black Lives Matter movement was very powerful this year and im proud. Proud of my people for not giving up and making it not just for a moment but making it a movement! I plan to be more involved moving forward.
