Hi there friends, welcome back to my post about reasons I smiled. I’ve been slacking and I apologize. I hope everyone had a lovely week. The Olympics started yesterday, did you watch the opening ceremonies? I was at work and they were on but…….lol! I do love the Olympics. I wanted to be an Olympian when I was younger..
Speaking of the Olympics, its a reason I smiled this week. I’ve always loved them. Since I was a child. It takes so much hard work and training. I admire those people so much and I love the dedication of it all. Track and field was always my favorite. Florence Griffith Joyner was always my favorite. You might know her better as Flo-Jo.
My friend Arrius, isn’t his name awesome? He has his own company and he finally hooked me up with a beenie, lol! I must say I look really good in it! Filter is pretty awesome 😍 You should check him out, Goon Times!
I went to PF Chang for lunch. I hadn’t been there in years. So, it was amazing to eat there again. The food was good as I remembered. It was beautiful in there. As always the company was the best part 💕
Somehow I made my way back to Bosphorus Turkish Cuisine! You guys know I absolutely love that place. I can literally eat there every week. The food is so good and the vibe is amazing. Company is always the best part!
The best part of my week was hanging out with my sister Danielle! She made beef stir fry and we watched movies and drank beer. We watched that new movie Gunpowder Milkshake. Or maybe its called Milkshake Gunpowder, lol! Movie was okay but the food was better. My sister is an excellent chef! We always have fun together, she’s the BEST!

Life with Lane: "Doing things that matter" 
This week was a little hard for me to smile, but thinking back to watching my older cousin and 8 year old nephew made me smile lol. My cousin came home from work with his portable speaker blasting and the kids all flocked to him. They had a dance party in the living room which made my heart happy. I’m glad you’re finding the happy things in life. It reminded me to do the same ❤️
