Good morning beautiful humans, happy Monday! How was your weekend? I hope it was wonderful. Thank you for stopping by my blog, come on in………

“Doing things that matter!” Www.lifewithlane.net
Two years ago today at 938am my little old man took his last breath. I lost my best friend of almost 16 years 😢. Two years prior Dusty, his brother, my other little best friend left me, and my life hasn’t been the same since. Dogs come into our lives and they bring us this this joy we didn’t know we needed. It’s such a beautiful thing! Although it’s so sad and heartbreaking when we they leave us, I don’t regret having them. I haven’t gotten new pups yet but that doesn’t mean I won’t even get one. I’m just not ready yet.

Onyx was my 25th birthday present, lol! He helped me grow into adulthood really. He was there for me through all my most difficult things in life. He was my little soldier and he never complained, lol! Well, occasionally he talked 😉. I always said he was a God sent pup. He absolutely acted like he belonged to God, lol! I’m 100% that’s where he is now!

I will forever miss my Onyx and I can’t wait to see him again in Heaven. Him and my sweet Dusty 💓. My life was better because they existed! Thank you God!
So sad. We keep them close to our hearts forever. They give us love without limits.

I think he is playing with Maxwell and Chance and Shadow and John Snow. I miss them all too. Hey Nix.

Our furry children are special. They do teach us so much, don’t they? It is so difficult that their lives are so much shorter than ours. Such a sad anniversary, but still a good time to reflect on all that Onyx gave you 🙂
