I turned 42 3 weeks ago and guess what? I didn’t get to celebrate because I had the flu. Yes, I had the flu. After fighting bronchitis for 4 months I got the flu on top of it. Good thing is, having the flu pushed out all the mucus that was in my chest out! So, having the flu was a blessing in disguise. I never thought I would say that.
In July I found out I had bronchitis. I had been having the hardest time getting over it. No matter what my doctors tried, nothing was working to make me feel better. I was put on all types of medicine. I was put on steroids twice, I was given an inhaler, antibiotics, prescription cough medication, over the counter medication etc. I tried natural products. I drank tea. Yes, some of these made me feel better. Especially drinking tea and orange juice. Apparently I needed to get the flu to push the mucus out………
However, I don’t want you guys to be sick for weeks like me if you happen to get sick. So, I found there amazing remedies on Pinterest and I wanted to share them with you. Flu season is indeed amongst us. I’m not a doctor but I know alot of these remedies work. When I was sick, I ate alot of fresh fruits, soup, and I drank alot of hot tea with honey and lemon.
